West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc., WFHPI, a direct support organization of the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. is a non-profit organization which manages and operates the T. T. Wentworth, Jr. Florida State Museum, Historic Pensacola Village, the Pensacola Historical Museum, the Pensacola Children’s Museum and the Arcadia Archaeology Mill Site. The mission of WFHPI is to collect, preserve and interpret the history of Northwest Florida. We are a multifunctional organization that operates archive, research, publication, preservation, and museum initiatives. We currently host approximately 15,000 school children annually as well as 60,000 traditional visitors. An additional 10,000 children annually visit the Pensacola Children’s Museum.
