Mission Statement: The Museum of Flight exists to acquire, preserve, and exhibit historically significant air and space artifacts, which provide a foundation for scholarly research, and lifelong learning programs that inspire an interest in and understanding of science, technology, and the humanities.
Company History
The Museum of Flight Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in it's 51st year of service and now the largest aviation museum in the West, containing one of the largest air and space collections in the country. A landmark destination in Seattle, Washington, its beautiful facilities overlook the runway of the King County International Airport, allowing visitors the additional option of flying in to see exhibits and the permanent collection, including the Red Barn, the birthplace of the Boeing Company.
