Through a world-class, immersive experience, the Museum fulfills its mission of advancing the public’s understanding of organized crime’s history and its impact on American society.
In 2017 the American Alliance of Museums awarded The Mob Museum accreditation, exemplifying its commitment to excellence, inclusion, and ongoing innovation. Company History
The Mob Museum opened its doors on February 14, 2012, in a building rich with cultural and historic significance, Las Vegas’ former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office. From day one, the Museum has played a key role in the revitalization of downtown Las Vegas, quickly establishing itself as a cultural anchor for both locals and visitors. With a mission rooted in education and public engagement, the Museum has built a robust slate of offerings that includes field trips, outreach programs and a dynamic calendar of public events. These initiatives go beyond traditional exhibits, making the Museum a community hub for learning, dialogue and entertainment. Now, with over 4 million total visitors and 400,000 guests annually, The Mob Museum is the most visited museum in the state of Nevada. Its sustained success is a testament to strong financial stewardship, mission-driven growth and an enduring commitment to relevance and reinvestment
