Company Overview
The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association (the Gables) is a 501c3 that owns and operates a National Historic Landmark District Museum campus located in Salem, Massachusetts. The campus consists of 2 acres of land, seaside colonial revival gardens, seven historic buildings (17th, 18th and 19th century) and a modern visitor center. In addition to preserving and maintaining our campus, the organization cares for over 3,000 works of art, furnishings and ephemera as well as an archive with thousands of documents, books and mixed media. Our mission is to be a welcoming, thriving historic site and community resource that engages people of all backgrounds in our inclusive American story. Our vision is to preserve, share and continue the American story.
