The Riley County Historical Museum (RCHM) is a Department of Riley County government. The Museum is located at 2309 Claflin Manhattan, Kansas, in an 1977 museum building next door to the Goodnow House State Historic Site. RCHM has a staff of four full time and five part time employees. The collection and education program focuses on Riley County history.

Company History

The Riley County Historical Society founded the Riley County Historical Museum in 1915. In 1977 the Museum became a Department of Riley County government. The Riley County Historical Museum administers the collection of the Riley County Historical Society as well as the following properties: Goodnow House State Historic Site, Wolf House Museum Historic Site, Pioneer Log Cabin, and Rocky Ford School.
