The National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas will serve as the only national institution dedicated to the stories, impact, and legacy of the service members who went on to become Medal of Honor recipients.
With this project, Americans will gather to learn and pay tribute to our country’s bravest heroes in a state-of-the-art facility. Through recipient stories of courage and valor, the Museum will inspire current and future generations to discover and develop the shared values inherent in every Medal of Honor recipient — COURAGE & SACRIFICE, COMMITMENT & INTEGRITY, CITIZENSHIP & PATRIOTISM.

THE NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MUSEUM FOUNDATION IS A 501(C)(3) EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION ON A MISSION TO INSPIRE AMERICA.
Organized to design, fund, build, and maintain the National Medal of Honor Museum, Monument, and Institute, we are here to recognize the values and ideals of the prestigious Medal of Honor: Courage, Sacrifice, Commitment, Integrity, Citizenship, Patriotism.
Through education, leadership, and inspiring spaces for learning and reflection, we preserve, share, and harness the stories, lives, and impact of Medal of Honor recipients.
Our mission as an organization is to inspire America to its true character and leadership potential—one hero at a time.

Through education, leadership, and inspiring spaces for learning and reflection, the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation preserves and expands the impact of the 3,511 award recipients and the more than 40 million Americans who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces since the Civil War.
