Mission
The mission of the International Museum of Art & Science is to promote a deeper appreciation for the arts and sciences through its exhibitions, cultural events, and educational programs, and to preserve, expand, and display its permanent art and science collections.
Vision
The vision of IMAS is to enhance the overall quality of life for all members of our community through artistic and scientific enlightenment.
Purpose
To engage in all activities, of whatever nature or kind, necessary, useful, expedient, or appropriate to further public education in the fields of art and science by establishing, operating, managing, owning, and supervising an art and science museum.
To schedule exhibits and activities in the arts and science areas
To be responsible for becoming a living museum through the activities of communication and education
To endeavor to make programs a living experience
To be a teaching museum that conducts special tours and experiences for school classes
