The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is the primary source of federal support for the nation's libraries and museums. We advance, support, and empower America's museums, libraries, and related organizations through grant-making, research, and policy development. Our vision is a nation where museums and libraries work together to transform the lives of individuals and communities.
The position is located within the Office of Museum Services. IMLS is located inside the L'Enfant Plaza in SW Washington, D.C., and is accessible by public transportation (L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station). IMLS is connected to the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station and VRE Station stop, and is within walking distance to the L'Enfant Shopping Plaza, and numerous restaurants, shops, and governmental agencies.
