Ellwood House Museum
Company Overview
The Ellwood House Museum offers ten acres of parkland, seven historic structures, and a modern visitor center. Located just blocks from Northern Illinois University, the museum has ties to various college departments and hosts annual internship programs for museum studies, history, art, and nonprofit management students.
The mission of the Ellwood House Association is to engage visitors with authentic examples of ingenuity and architecture by sharing the Ellwood mansion, gardens, and museum campus.
