Billings Farm & Museum is a premiere Jersey dairy farm that continues a 150-year-old tradition of agricultural excellence. We offer innovative farm programs and historical exhibits that explore Vermont’s rural heritage and values, engaging over 55,000 visitors a year in interactive learning that fosters an appreciation for responsible agriculture and animal husbandry. The only outdoor museum in the country that combines a fully-operational dairy farm with interactive programs and historic exhibits, we are located in Woodstock, Vermont, heralded as the “prettiest small town in America,” and home to Vermont’s only National Park.

Company History

One of the finest dairy farms in America and a museum of Vermont's rural past, Billings Farm continues a tradition of agricultural excellence. Established by Frederick Billings in 1871 and continued through the stewardship of his granddaughter Mary French Rockefeller and her husband, conservationist Laurance Spelman Rockefeller
