Company Profile
Company Overview
The Arizona Historical Society was established by an Act of the First Territorial Legislature on November 7, 1864, to collect and preserve "all facts relating to the history of this Territory." Today, the Society serves as the steward of state and regional history, its extensive object and manuscript collections offering unrivaled opportunities for educational outreach, public programming, and research. The opening in 2012 of the new Arizona Experience museum in downtown Phoenix, a project of the state's Centennial, will enable visitors to journey through Arizona's last hundred years and into the century to come by way of immersive storytelling, and interactive, multimedia exhibits.
