Recognized for its collection of authentic World War II artifacts and memorabilia, the CAF Airpower Museum is dedicated to preserving the complete history of World War II military aviation and the memory of the men and women who built, serviced and flew the historic military aircraft of the war.

The museum houses 100,000 sqare feet of hands-on permanent exhibits that tell the story of World War II. These interactive exhibits illustrate aviation concepts and events from every theatre of the war.

The museum's collection of more than 500,000 artifacts and archives includes uniforms of Allied and Axis countries, armament, photograhs, weapons and equipment. The museum also houses the world's largest collection of aviation Nose Art. Visitors can find unique and operational aircraft in the CAF's working hangars throughout the year. The museum's ever expanding campus also now includes new galleries featuring the Texas Medal of Honor Memorial and the Commemorative Air Force Hall of Fame.

The CAF Airpower Museum offers educational opportunities, exciting seminars, research services, oral history programs and more. The museum also offers Aviation Cadet Academies teaching the history of military aviation to youth through hands-on programs and projects. The CAF Airpower Museum gives a voice to the Greatest Generation.
